This volume presents some of the most beautiful, recently finished, private houses from all five continents. All are accompanied by numerous illustrations and selected on the basis of a single criterion: the close link between architecture and nature. These projects are all exceptional architectural achievements, located in some of the most remote and breathtaking sites in the world: the middle of the desert in Phoenix (Arizona), in the mountains of Sun Valley (Idaho), on the coast at Yzerfontein (West Coast of South Africa) and by a splendid golf course near Port Elizabeth.
